EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Hamlin Jet recruits Captains and Co-pilots on an on going basis and is always delighted to hear from suitably qualified crew.

Cabin attendants are hired on a freelance basis and we would be delighted to add your details to our database for future reference.

We may not have a vacancy when you call or e-mail but we will take your details and add them to our database providing you nearly meet or exceed our standard requirements listed below.

Our present fleet comprises a Falcon 900, a Challenger 300 and two Learjet 45's.

Captains would normally expect to have a minimum of the following qualifications:

Learjet 45 Challenger 300 Falcon 900
3000 Hours TT 4000 Hours TT 5000 Hours TT
1000 Hours PIC Jet 2000 Hours PIC Jet 3000 Hours PIC Jet
  • FAA and a JAA ATPL
  • A type rating on one of our aircraft types would be an advantage.

Co-pilots are required to have a minimum of the following qualifications:

  • FAA and a JAA CPL or frozen ATPL
  • 1500 Hours TT
  • 200 Hours Twin Time

All crew will have the right to work and reside in the UK and they will be expected to live no further than 1 hour from our base at London Luton Airport.

We expect an above average standard of airmanship combined with the ability to provide our clients with the outstanding service they require and deserve.

Hamlin Jet has a policy of promoting from within our employees. Co-pilots who exhibit above average capabilities will become eligible for promotion to Junior Captain status once they have sufficient hours to fulfil our insurance requirements.

All Hamlin Jet Crew attend regular recurrent training with FlightSafety. Initial training is provided subject to the individual crew requirements and the following paragraphs.

Crew joining Hamlin Jet are expected to posses a type rating for the aircraft type applied for. If this is not the case then they will be expected to initially obtain a rating at their own expense the cost of which will be repaid by Hamlin Jet monthly during continued employment over a period of 36 months.

We feel this is a fair form of bonding which allows the new crew member to benefit from the discounted training costs Hamlin Jet has achieved by enrolling as a Full Service client with FlightSafety.
