We will keep your aircraft legal, safe and operational...guaranteed! We will deal with all aspects of technical, legal, safety, operational and accounting administration for you. It can be a minefield but we’ve actually got a team of experts who love doing it. Aircraft Accounts are always dealt with quickly and accurately. We verify the detail of all invoices, ensure operation of fuel discount schemes and compile both manual and computerised accounts including cash book, day book, purchase and sales ledgers etc for the your aircraft operating company. At the end of each month, bank reconciliation's, cheques or foreign payments and invoices are organised. Every quarter your VAT return is compiled and a brief meeting is arranged at a convenient location (sometimes our office, sometimes the owner's). During this meeting your authorised signatory can review and answer questions on the past quarter and arrange a signature of the VAT return. We do it this way to give you complete financial control over your aircraft, without having the extra cost of directly employing some one else to achieve it. We want every part of owning the jet to be as smooth as possible. Even the end of year audit is quick and simple, as any questions have already been answered during the quarterly meetings Keeping you regulatory compliant A continual plethora of regulations appear from various European & US governmental sources that sometime radically affect the aircraft we manage. Some are not applicable, but others can require substantial expense or extra crew training to comply with. Our Commercial manager deals with this area by checking all new regulations for their applicability and how they can be most cost effectively complied with. You need never worry about the legalities and regulations relating to your aircraft. Our reputation and company commitment ensures that your aircraft will be kept in order continuously Behind the scenes at Hamlin Jet… The team live and breathe aviation and they’re always busy looking after you or your aircraft. The aircrew… All our crew are business aviation professionals who understand that those sitting in the back of the aircraft are the most important part of the equation. They, along with the management team are committed to do all they can to ensure that you experience the benefit of your jet every time you fly. All our captains attend recurrent training courses every 6 months in one of the major Flight Simulation schools in the US to ensure their skill levels are maintained at the highest possible standard. Pilot training is of paramount importance but unfortunately many owners of privately operated aircraft treat training as a budget to be trimmed rather than a philosophy. At Hamlin Jet, it is our utmost commitment to provide you with crew of the highest order and as an ongoing practice, our Chief Pilot continually flies with all the pilots to ensure standard company operating procedures are being adhered to at all times. Constant availability or aircrew can be guaranteed due to our team of fully employed pilots. Whether it’s through the busy times, holiday seasons or public holidays, we’ll make sure you can always go when and where you need to. All the in between bits… We’ve got dedicated organisers on board here to help you arrange all your flights to the smallest of details. On receiving your passenger and destination details, they will arrange everything for you and fax or e-mail a detailed itinerary to each passenger that would include timings, crew GSM tel. numbers, ground handling agent tel. numbers, etc. There is a lot more than meets the eye here. Our internal operations cover airfield opening hours, airport restrictions on non-airline traffic, fuel costs, maintenance planning, immigration & customs requirements, hire cars for the passengers, crew scheduling, small airport limitations (what reductions in fuel or passengers might need to be considered), or road transport limitations (what may be a better airport to use and why), any catering or other specific requirements etc…everything to give you peace of mind that nothing will go wrong and all has been considered and planned for Your aircraft … Aircraft are just machines and, although inherently reliable, do occasionally become unserviceable. In this instance, we would do whatever we could to provide you with another aircraft to use in the interim. But as an extra measure, we make sure that whenever your aircraft is not required our engineering team perform ongoing maintenance to reduce the period of grounding during scheduled maintenance. We’ll also make sure your aircraft is kept clean and restocked with onboard catering, ready for your next flight. It is this extra effort that has meant we have not had to cancel a single flight for nearly 10 years! Maintaining your plane… Our associate company, Hamlin Engineering and their engineers are passionate about aircraft and every part of it. Hamlin Engineering will supervises all major scheduled maintenance for your aircraft and as factory trained, fully licensed, engineers, they will complete all minor maintenance in our hangar, along with other engineering tasks. Their aim is to help save you money by totally reducing the very high cost of unnecessary positioning the aircraft to an outsourced service centre and to ensure an extremely high level of attention to detail. Maintaining for safety is essential, but your comfort and enjoyment of the aircraft is important too. Hamlin Engineering will compile and update your aircraft technical records every time a part is replaced or repaired and every time maintenance is performed. This is quite a lengthy but extremely important task as these records become of paramount value and importance when your aircraft is to be sold or changed. The dedication to you and your aircraft runs throughout the team, and the engineers at Hamlin Engineering, like us all at Hamlin Jet will be available to answer any query, technical or otherwise, that you may have regarding your aircraft or flight programme Please contact us for more information |
